Context: Batch insignia for the Class of 2022 at UWC Mahindra College. This design was awarded the popular vote amongst 11 others, and was painted on the annual graffiti wall. It depicts a stylised rendition of a still from the day the entire class demonstrated for the urgent need for change on campus by boycotting the academic calender and assembling on the campus lawns at 8:30am. It captures a sunset as seen from the academic quad, with silhouettes of students seated in a circle debating the state of affairs. As the organiser of the demonstration, the still holds a special place in my heart.
